Canoe hire comes with a highly experienced captain and your instructor for the week, Leon Mosher. Leon is from Oahu, Hawaii, and has been building and sailing these vessels for many years. He is also one of our regular volunteer surf guides and private coaches. Leon knows this area well and can teach you how to navigate the outrigger, explore the Islands, and even use it as a fishing boat.
Adding an outrigger hire to your stay at Namotu is an excellent way to experience Pacific Island culture and tradition with an expert at the helm.
