Dave Kalama has been coming to Namotu for over 35 years (before our first guests stayed in the rustic shacks in the early 90s). First he came as a windsurfer when that sport was still in its heyday, then it was paddleboarding when he pioneered its resurgence in the early 2000s. Throughout there’s been foiling, surfing, longboarding and pretty much anything you can do in the ocean. Now at 60+ years old he’s still as impressive to watch as ever and he’s got a lifetime of knowledge to share.
