The FIJI DMF are a USA-based NGO medical organisation that visits Namotu and the local village of Solevu in the Mamanuca Islands each year. This team of roughly 30 volunteers offer vital dental care to our staff, Solevu village residents and school children, and many other resorts’ staff.

Over the last few years we’ve tried to balance our need to supply guests with ammenities with our desire to reduce waste. One of our newest initiatives are water bottle refill stations and reusable bottles by Mizu.
This week we’ve had some creative souls on the Island and one of them is musician/writer/speaker, Alex Woodard. He came to Fiji and stayed on Tavarua before Namotu was built. It was there he first met Ulai and 25 years later he surfed with him again… Here’s his story.
