Activities For People Who Don’t Want To Surf In Fiji

Namotu Island Resort is one of the prime destinations for people looking to surf Fiji waters, but what do you do if your vacation companions don't want to surf? We have a range of activities for all of our guests no matter what their preferences are.

Surfing! – Before you dismiss surfing entirely, you might want to try stand up paddle board surfing as a gentle introduction to the sport of surfing. You can wander around the flat water areas and enjoy the scenery, even if you aren't interested in riding the waves.

Sailing – Want to enjoy the water but want something more stable than a surfboard or paddle board? Take a kayak, canoe or other craft out and visit neighbouring islands, or look for one of the many schools of dolphins in the area.

Snorkelling/Scuba Diving – If you want to get under the water we offer both snorkelling equipment and scuba diving with certified dive instructors. Explore the beautiful coral reefs and discover the amazing sea life you'll find just a few feet under water.

Fishing – Head out on The Duck, our 28' sports fishing boat, and catch your own dinner. Our local guides will take you to the best fishing spots in the area so you can catch your limit. More experienced fishermen might want to charter the Lunasea and find their own adventures.

Hanging Out – We recognise that some people go on vacation just to do nothing. We can accommodate that too! Lie on the beach and watch as your friends surf Fiji. Take a video so you can relive the event — or laugh at the many wipeouts. If sun and sea aren't your thing then sit at the bar and sip a tropical drink, sit on your patio and read a book, or just nap the warm days away in a hammock.

These are just a few of the many activities we offer our guests. Whether you want to surf Fiji or work on your tan, Namotu Island Resort is the place to be. Don't see an activity you want? Contact us and we'll see what we can arrange. Our goal is to make sure you have the best vacation possible.
